Principal Scientist
Cell Technology is a rapidly growing Biotech Reagent and Services company. Located in Mountain View, CA we are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Principal Scientist to assist with manufacturing and research of new and existing products and services in the Lab. This is a Full time hands-on position in the Lab.



Responsibilities:

• New product research and development – responsible for design and execution.
• ADCC / CDC Assay services – provide customer interface, prepare proposals, experimentation, data analysis and reports.
• Manufacturing of our product lines, including documentation and record keeping.
• Providing technical support to clients as needed.
• Contribute to scientific literature, patents and conferences.
• Work with marketing to help identify new products.
• Help with Cell culture in the lab.



Qualifications:

• PhD in Bio Chemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology, or similar field with a Minimum 7 years of Cell based Assay development expertise.
• In depth knowledge of ADCC / CDC Assays and cellular pathways
• In depth experience with recombinant DNA technology (cloning/expression).
• Flow Cytometry Expert
• Knowledge of biostatistical tests of significance, graphical tools such as Graph Pad, MS Excel.
• Knowledge of FDA requirements for in-vitro assays a huge plus.
• Accomplishments must include multiple publications in scientific journals, and proven ability to work independently, and in a fast paced environment.
• He/she must be a reliable team member, self-motivated, independent, and goal-oriented with experience in solving scientific issues.
• The ability to multi-task and to quickly learn new skills and apply previous experience and knowledge to new situations is critical.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous record keeping, excellent judgment and problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently and under deadlines are essential.
• The level of position will be determined based on experience and background in our field of research.
